The service
Edgeless Studio (“we”) makes a short video based on the style, aspect ratio, length, audience, feel and purpose you choose when ordering. Copy, music, sound effects and captions are done by our editing system using its professional judgment.
The film is a 1080P MP4 with English captions. You choose one aspect ratio when ordering; other ratios and voice-over are add-ons charged at the prices shown on this site. Sample videos on the site show the direction of each style and do not guarantee how your film will look.
02Orders
Orders and payment
You sign in with a Google account, and its email address is used for notifications and to look up your orders. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
An order is placed when payment completes. Its contents are what we produce and cannot be changed afterwards. If you need changes, contact us or place a new order.
03Materials
Materials
Please provide your materials on the hand-in page within 3 days of payment. If none arrive in time, the order expires and is handled under the Refund Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to use the materials you provide and that any URL is a publicly viewable page. We do not accept illegal, infringing or misleading content and may decline to produce it with a full refund. Materials are deleted together with the film 3 days after delivery, and also when an order expires or is refunded.
04Delivery
Delivery and remakes
The film is delivered to your order page, with an email to you, within 24 hours of submitting materials. It is kept for 3 days; please download it in that time. After that the film and materials are deleted together.
If the film has an obvious defect (wrong aspect ratio, a corrupted file, a length clearly outside your choice, or content clearly not matching the order), you may request one free remake within 3 days of delivery. Preferences about style and copy are creative judgment and are not covered.
05Rights
Ownership
Once delivered, the copyright in the film belongs to you and you may use it for any purpose, including commercial use. Music and sound effects come from libraries we are licensed to use.
We do not publish your materials or film, or use them as samples, without your consent.
06General
Liability and other terms
Films are made by an automated system from your materials. Please check the numbers, names and copy before using them publicly. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the order.
Days and hours in these terms are counted in UTC+8. When we revise these terms we update the version number; placed orders follow the version in effect when they were placed. Any dispute about the service will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails.
